Squash Rackets

Squash is a racketsport which is practiced indoors with two players and a rubber ball which may have varying degrees of speed or bounce. Players hit the ball with their rackets making it bounce off the front wall of the court. The ball can bounce off the walls as often as necessary and in any order, provided it hits the front wall or facade, but it can bounce off the floor when they consider it a point to the opponent.

The rackets that are used in Squash must be selected considering individual needs, the position to play, the game features, the type of shot you want and the physical and technical conditions of the players among other preferences.

Given the number of brands of rackets available, you have to be an expert or consult experts to not be swayed by sellers that often confuse rather than shed light on the matter.

We detail below a number of characteristics of different kinds of rackets so you have a better picture when making your choice.

The racket and techniques:

For power, control and average speed, you need a racket of half frame, keep the weight on the handle, which is rigid and comfortable. This type of racket is mostly used by regular players.

For power, maneuverability and low speed, you need a racket with large frame, weight-bearing in the frame. This type of racket is for beginners.

For, control, precision and great speed, you have to choose a racket of small frame and keep the weight in the center of it. This type of racket is for professionals or very good players.
